We think it’s pretty amazing that the students at GEMS World Academy (Singapore) (GWA) come from all around the world with not one dominant nationality. Currently, the top five nationalities represented at the school are American, British, Indian, Australasian and Japanese, with over 40 other nationalities representing a diverse student population. School-life balance is key here! All GWA students fully participate in sports, arts and academics. This is a non-negotiable requirement for all children from Pre-K through Grade 12 because GWA believes a balanced education and a well-rounded life go hand-in-hand.
We haven’t forgotten you, mama! Parent engagement is an integral part of the GWA experience, with plenty of opportunities to actively partner with the school in your child’s education and community. GWA’s internationally certified curriculum enables families to join the school from anywhere in the world and to move anywhere in the world (whoever said change is hard?) Students enrolled in GWA’s International Baccalaureate (IB) programmes study subjects across a minimum of five key areas until graduation, providing them with multiple pathways toward their future learning and employment.
To top it all off, GWA is part of a huge support system being a World Academy school within the global GEMS Education network of over 80 schools in more than 10 countries with more than 250,000 students!

GWA hosts weekly school tours every Tuesday and some Saturdays where parents can meet with their outstanding educators, including the Head of Education himself, and also check out their world-class campus boasting a 750-seat auditorium, rock climbing wall, Olympic-sized pool and S.T.E.M lab!
