Join us for our first Mama Meet Up of 2016 where babies and kids can play (and munch on yummy snacks), mamas can mingle, and we can all enjoy the beautiful Singapore Botanic Gardens!

We’re baaack! It’s time for our first Mama Meet Up of the year, mama, and we’re kicking things off in a big way with a morning of stories, play and yummy snacks at mama and kiddo fave Food for Thought in the Singapore Botanic Gardens!

On Wednesday, 17 February, you and the kiddos can look forward to a slew of fun activities for babies and kids, along with a chance for mamas to connect and have a chat over coffee and snacks. We’ll be setting up shop right near Food for Thought’s awesome outdoor playground, and will also have a special indoor sensory play station run by the fun peeps at My Messy Box, which is all about giving children the chance to get hands-on to explore, discover and learn.

At 10am, Sassy Mama contributor and children’s author/educator Pooja Makhijani will do read aloud storytime from her acclaimed children’s book, Mama’s Saris. It’s a beautiful story about a little girl’s desire to play dress up so she can look just like her mama that we know both children and mamas will enjoy! Pooja will also be happy to sign books if you want to bring your own copy along!

And don’t worry, we’re not forgetting the tiniest of tinies. Australian premium baby food company Rafferty’s Garden will be on hand giving out free pouches for mamas and babies to sample. With all sorts of yummy fruit and vege combinations – all made in Australia from the freshest, most premium ingredients – these pouches are major crowd pleasers for bubs 6 months of age and up (we’ve seen it with our very own eyes!).

Finally, if you’ve got a hankering for caffeine or something a bit more substantial, Food for Thought will also be offering Sassy Mamas a 10% discount off food and drinks (in our estimation they’ve got some of the best pancakes in Singapore!). Everybody wins!

When it’s all said and done with, the fun will continue with awesome photos from Littleones Photography. They always capture lots of gorgeous shots of mamas and babies that are available for download via our Facebook page after the event. Just another reason you won’t want to miss this, mamas!

So be sure to RSVP by filling out the form below, mama. The event is limited to 50 mamas and kiddos to ensure there’s plenty of room to play, so enter your deets ASAP. Food for Thought also has a convenient underground carpark just by the Tanglin Gate, so you can park or have a taxi drop you off right by the restaurant entrance. See you at the Botanic Gardens!
