Earlier this month, we were all set for a family vacation to Thailand when I was asked to try out LilGadgets Connect+ Children’s Wired Headphones. The timing turned out to be perfect as I knew my little man – all of 3 years old – would definitely be up for a bit of screen time on the flight! In fact, screen time is one of the highlights of his being up in the sky given we limit his time at home.

 

The bright blue headset was an instant hit, and provided a nice snug fit with well-cushioned ear pieces. The headset is designed to fit ages 2+ and folds easily into the accompanying little black travel pouch for easy storage.

The sound quality was clear, and I really liked the fact that there was a maximum volume control to protect little ears. An additional benefit is the share port; in other words, one earpiece has the cable jack that connects to the device, whilst the other can connect to a second headphone set, thereby allowing one device to be shared easily between two children. It’s perfect to keep siblings from fighting over headphones when they’re watching something on the same screen!
