It’s time once again for our guide to year-end holiday camps for kids in Singapore, mama! Camp Asia offers a comprehensive selection for munchkins’ every interest! Camp Magic
Founded more than 15 years ago, Camp Magic aims “to provide children with a safe, fun environment where they are regularly invited to explore though an enormous and inspiring variety of activities”. They seriously try everything from juggling, to hula-hooping, to drum circles and so much more. Kiddos can even try their hand at the ukulele! Workshops are designed for littlies ages 3 to 12 years old, with half-day programmes available for 3-4 year olds. Programmes run from Monday, 14 December to Monday, 4 January.

Community Club Holiday Camps
From Battle Robots to Batik Painting, Junior Math Busters to Fun with Forensive Science, kiddos can choose from dozens of courses offered at over 100 neighbourhood community clubs all over the island, usually at a quite reasonable price, too!

Whether kiddos are putting on their PJs for a slumber party with a movie and popcorn (remember how much fun that was when you were a kid?), learning to kayak, or baking up a storm, SAFRA’s serving up a wide range of kids’ activities throughout November and December to keep little ones busy.

Inventive Kids
Inventive Kids places a major emphasis on STEM learning through fun, hands-on themed camps like “Medieval Inventors” and “Island Survivors”, in which kids will have to work together using science, engineering, and a healthy dose of creativity to figure out how to get themselves off a desert island. Camps are open to kids 7-12 and run from Monday, 30 November to Saturday, 12 December.

Children’s Worklab
All of Children’s Worklab’s theme-based technology camps make use of kid favourites like Legos to sharpen fine motor skills and introduce children to basic scientific concepts, all in the name of exploring all that is cool and fun about technology! Project Breakthrough

Developed in line with Singapore’s call for self-directed learners, National Geographic and Singtel are collaborating with the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD), A*Star Institute, and the Singapore Science Centre to launch Project Breakthrough – a science programme for students aged 9-11 in local schools. Starting the week of 16 November through to 2 December, kids will get to meet experts from each learning institute, tour their state-of-the-art facilities and brainstorm sustainable energy and healthcare solutions. Promising young innovators who present the best ideas will even get a chance to further their interests with a special attachment to local research institutions!

These camps for kids ages 6-13 focus on a lot more than just rugby! Kiddos will take part in various team challenges and play camp classics like Capture the Flag, along with trying their hands at sports like soccer, handball and athletics in addition to rugby. Parents and kiddos can attend one of six “FUN Start MOVE Smart!” workshops together during school holidays, helping them explore and participate in insightful motor skill activities specially designed in progressive stages for young children. Parents will be shown how to introduce fundamental movement skill activities to their child as well as key areas to watch out for as their child develops and matures in each skill.
