The brainchild of Singapore mama Maggie Chan, BaeBeeBoo features kaftans that are hand-stitched and hand-embroidered by local women in Jaipur, India. Not only is every gorgeous piece completely unique, but a portion of profits are channeled back into the local community through the New Light Foundation, which promotes gender equality through education and life skills training.

Maggie was inspired to launch BaeBeeBoo when she had trouble finding a cute kaftan for her daughter that rivaled her own for style and uniqueness. She didn’t want something too cookie cutter that was mass-produced, and decided then and then to create her own indie label for the toddler set. The debut kaftan, “The Bae”, is named for her own young daughter.

“The Bae” comes in two shades – white and pale pink – and is available in two sizes for bubs ages 1-4. With a drawstring waist and those open, fluttery arms it can easily grow with your munchkin as she takes it from beach to pool – just another thing to love about this fab article of clothing.
