We’re always looking for unique finds to jazz up our kiddos’ rooms — after all, not everything can always be from Ikea! Up until now though, there hasn’t been anyone in Singapore putting together truly beautiful items that blend function with a whole lotta whimsy. Enter… Cuckoo! We first stumbled across this new brand at Boutiques a couple of weeks back (and we’re sure you couldn’t have missed spotting them if you were there) and now they’re also going to be showcasing their wares at Cluny Court this weekend with a pop-up shop!

Started by two Singapore mamas (Francesca and Emily), these mamapreneurs obviously have a gift for curating truly lustful bits and bobs, and while we admit the general price-point is on the higher side, the pieces they stock are so impactful and statement-making, they’re really worth the splurge. Here are some of our fave picks from their online shop…

The-Peacock-Collection-Love-Chair-Pink4First up, can we just say we’re totally crazy about this pink peacock chair for a little girls’ room (or boy’s of course!). We would pile it up with colourful cushions and story time would get a whole new lease of life!

SebraCuckoo’s Sebra Kili line of nursery furny is also to-die for and uber-stylish. If we could go back and do it all again we’d love to invest in one of these gorgeous cots or changing units.

Fancy-Garland-Lights-Coffret-Valpariso-HelsinkiFor adding some cosiness to a little one’s room we love these light garlands which could also double as night-lights.

Screen Shot 2014-05-26 at 5.13.51 pmFor playing dress-up we’re wishing for these little Mouche crowns complete with sparkly veils… Mamas can be princesses too, right?

Flower-Weave-Daisy-Fog-Full-ShotLastly, not just for children’s rooms, these Armadillo & Co Flower hemp rugs will brighten up any space that needs a bit of a pop of colour. Hard-wearing and versatile, we’d be tempted to pop them in a bathroom or kitchen as well!

Pssst… If you fancy checking out Cuckoo’s range in person (and they’re constantly getting new stock in as they were rather depleted by Boutiques) head to Cluny Court from Thursday 29th May until Tuesday 3rd June from 10am – 6pm.
